Background

The Government of Uganda has secured loan financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the African Development Bank (AfDB) for the implementation of the Project for Establishing Uganda Cancer Institute Regional Cancer Centres in Arua, Radiotherapy Services in Mbale, and the Completion of the Multipurpose Building for the East African Centres of Excellence.

The project seeks to support Uganda’s efforts to reduce the burden of cancer-related morbidity and mortality, thereby improving the social well-being and economic productivity of the population.

To facilitate effective implementation of the project, Uganda Cancer Institute (UCI) is seeking qualified and experienced professionals to join the Project Support Team under Component 3 of the project.

Project Duration

The successful candidates will be engaged on a full-time basis for a period of four (4) years.

Expected Start Date

Successful applicants will be required to commence work as soon as possible.
