• Reports to: Project Managers.

Job Purpose: Provide finance and accounting services to ensure effective financial management in line with GOU regulations and World Bank guidelines.

• Qualifications:

  • Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.

  • Full qualification in ACCA or CPA is mandatory.

  • Must be a member of the Institute of Chartered Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU).

  • Master’s Degree is an added advantage.

Experience: Eight (8) years of experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role and 5 years in financial management with externally funded projects.

Key Duties:

• Lead preparation of annual work plan budgets (AWPBs).
• Manage program funds under the Designated Account at the Bank of Uganda.
• Prepare and submit quarterly Interim Financial Reports (IFRs) to IDA.
• Coordinate with the Auditor General for annual audits.
