Requirements

  • • Ordinary Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Technical Institute
  • • Computer skills in MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Project and internet applications

Responsibilities

  • 1) Conduct regular PPM of electro-mechanical equipment/plant
  • 2) Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies, providing technical support to resolve issues quickly and minimize downtime
  • 3) Identify and verify spare parts and materials needed for maintenance and repair activities.
  • 4) Execute assigned tasks as per job cards provided, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
  • 5) Complete job cards upon finishing tasks and ensure all details are accurately recorded
  • 6) Assist in raising store issue vouchers for required spares/materials, collect and distribute spares/materials from the store to the relevant work sites
  • 7) Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electro-mechanical equipment/plants
  • 8) Perform basic fabrication and machining of spare parts and components as required for maintenance and repair tasks
  • 9) Work collaboratively with other technicians and plant operators to achieve maintenance goals
  • 10) Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations promoting a safe working environment
  • 11) Performs any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time
